Capo has replaced all of my older "slow downer" applications for audio. The visual interface lets me use the features - pitch, key, speed, etc. - quickly to work out songs and guitar breaks. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it syncs between my Mac, iPad and iPhone. I can prepare a track on my Mac and use it when teaching on my iPad.

I grew up dropping the needle over and over to learn guitar parts and solos. It was painstaking and difficult but that was the way we did it. Today, Capo makes the process of learning parts seamless and so easy — input the source material, take control of tempo, key, etc and set up regions for looping, all of which takes seconds to do. Amazing. Also a great tool for developing original music.

When I'm trying to learn something by ear I need to slow down the music while keeping audio quality … capo is great. YouTube has limited ability in this and the audio quality degrades. Also Capo transposes, and offers chords. I can't count on the chords 100% but they get me on the right track… my ear is my weakest link and it keeps improving. Capo helps tremendously.

This is fantastic! By simply switching the TAB display to ukulele I can learn a new song easily. I download the somgs I want to learn right out of my iTunes library and play along with the original artist. No need to buy a book of songs. I mean, books are ok but this way I can learn right along and take in all aspects of the tune; how it should sound, the right chords, finger picking, etc. I can slow down and rehearse a section that gives me trouble until I get it right. It is a no-brainer! Use this app!!
